Recommended Equipment for a Missions Touch Display
HARDWARE SUPPLY LIST
Apple Mac Mini (A base level M4 would be fine, if you want to upgrade anything, make sure it is the RAM)
Integrated Touch Screens
There are several companies who manufacture them, I will give you my recommendation as they are high quality, and can hold up against heavy usage since the touchscreen is integrated into the frame. I don’t typically recommend going any larger than 50” as it becomes a bit overwhelming for a person standing right in front of it. Keep in mind as well, that when you mount the TV, place it high enough to be comfortable for someone 5’7 then it will work for most adults and children.

Touch Screen Overlays
Once again, there are several options out there for a touchscreen overlay. They are a lower cost option and can be placed over an existing TV that you might have. The downside to them is long term durability, and also in some cases, there are some compatibility issues. However, if you are looking for a lower cost option and are willing to play around with it to get it working properly, here are a few options.

TV Mounting Kit
You will want something strong, but pretty flush to the wall.
Mac Mini Wall Mounting Kit
This is very helpful in hiding the Mac mini directly behind the touchscreen. If you position it near the top of the screen, it will be well hidden and not accessible to your church family.

Mac Power Manager Software
This software will help you to turn on and off your Mac on a schedule, as well as open the software and close it automatically. This is important so that no one has to be responsible for turning it on and off each week. It will also put the screen into sleep mode to preserve the life of the display.
